The Canyons

Located just four miles from Park City’s historic Main Street, The Canyons offers something for everyone with 3,500 acres of diverse terrain spread over 8 mountains. All this incredible terrain is serviced by one of the most modern lift systems around and makes The Canyons the largest single ski and snowboard resort in Utah. A lively pedestrian-only resort village features daily live music and street entertainers.

Snowboarding and Skiing at The Canyons in Park City, Utah The incredible beauty you saw on NBC’s Today Show and Nightly News during the 2002 winter games was The Canyons Resort. That’s because The Canyons was selected as their broadcast center. Matt Lauer said of his time here, “The Canyons was our Olympic home away from home. What a great stay. What a great mountain. What a great resort!”

Skiers looking for The Canyons’ award-winning terrain park in 2003-04 will find it at a new location and at a higher elevation - providing more consistent natural snowfall assisted by a new snowmaking system for the park. Freeskiers and riders will access the new park by Snow Canyon Express where they will find more than 30 features throughout the 16-acre park.

Tree skiing gets even better off of The Canyons’ Saddleback Express lift. Skiers and riders will find even more tree skiing near The Pines, thanks to the thinning of glades. The Pines is known for deep, untouched powder and plenty-o-trees.

On-mountain dining takes a step up at The Canyons Resort. Lookout Cabin will now feature a new, full-service bar within the restaurant -- Located atop Lookout Peak, Lookout Cabin provides stunning views of the Wasatch along with table-served meals daily.
