According to the most recent statistics released by the Rocky Mountain Resort Alliance, which provides real estate information for 10 of the largest ski and summer resort areas in the west, in the year-end statistics for 2006 Park City was second of these resorts in both number of units sold and also in dollar sales volume. (See the stats). However, you will notice that we are still undervalued when you compare the average sales prices of land, condos and single-family homes with a number of other areas. Demand remains high, but more inventory is becoming available and the market is transitioning a bit. We saw tremendous activity in our upper-end real estate market over the course of this past winter and our market remains strong in comparison to many areas of the country which saw their markets contracting substantially.

With three world-class ski areas all within a short drive, the access to year round recreation is unrivaled. In fact, many outdoor recreation companies, like Rossignol and Quicksilver have re-located to our area so they can be in the middle of all of the action. The entire family can find something to do in Park City. On any given day one could play 18-holes of golf on the numerous courses in the area, wet a line fly fishing on blue-ribbon trout waters and still get in a great workout on your mountain bike before going to Main Street for shopping and dining in one of our many restaurants.
